Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery Received an Order from Powerflute Oyj to Savon Sellu Mill

VAAHTO PULP & PAPER MACHINERY RECEIVED AN ORDER FROM POWERFLUTE OYJ TO SAVON SELLU MILL

Powerflute Oyj has signed an agreement with Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery for a new headbox and modernisation of the short circulation of its Savon Sellu mill in Finland. At the same time mill automation upgrade programme will be continued.

The fluting paper machine at Savon Sellu mill is 7 m wide and operates at max. speed of 850 m/min. This is a repeat order from Powerflute: Vaahto supplied press modernization to Savon Sellu in autumn 2006.

Start-up of the investment will be in May 2008. Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery’s order amounts to approximately 3 million euros.
