INDUSTRIES AND APPLICATIONS
- Combined agitation tasks
High-performance agitators and mixers
- Heavy-duty central agitators installed from the top or bottom
- Special mounting concept
- Carefree, tailor-made and simple
- High safety factors
- Reasonable lifecycle cost
As the availability of many metallurgical agitators is crucial, and they are subject to intense wear and tear, UTG applies design philosophies that not only maximize their lifetime but also minimize downtime due to maintenance and repairs. For example, the special mounting concept of the secondary bridge enables the agitator to be replaced without emptying the tank in a matter of hours.
Long life mixing solutions for mining sites
Our heavy-duty central agitators installed from the top or bottom have proven their worth in the field of hydrometallurgy.
Instead of standard solutions, we consistently apply individual adaptations and further developments that make our agitators leaders in their field.
Our tailored mixing solutions and understanding of our customers’ processes are emphasized when dealing with large material flows
For example, in a metallurgical process in the mining industry where the ore is crushed, grinded, concentrated and goes into dissolution, mixing the liquid and the particles can be challenging. Experience is needed so that the suspension does not settle at the bottom of the mixing tank during mixing, the technology does not fail and corrosion does not become a problem.
The right agitator in the right place – including different agitators on the same shaft – combined with the optimal power and speed are the secret to the long life of UTG Mixing Group’s mixing solutions. We verify these with CFD simulation before choosing a mixing solution. It is an honor for us to provide our customers with carefree, tailor-made and ruggedly simple equipment with a high safety factor and a reasonable lifecycle cost.
Agitation processes require individual adaptations
Individual solutions in close cooperation with our customers are based on detailed analysis. UTG Mixing Technology R&D Center consists of a testing laboratory in Warburg, Germany, and is backed up by our process experts and researchers at our local offices in Finland and Germany. We also offer a wide range of our own innovations that provide optimized flow performance. We develop and design according to case-specific requirements in order to optimize new customer processes.
