CORENSO SELECTED VAAHTO PULP & PAPER MACHINERY TO REBUILD PM12 IN WISCONSIN RAPIDS, USA

Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery will supply main production equipment to Corenso´s Wisconsin Rapids paper machine 12 (PM12) conversion project in the USA. Vaahto´s delivery will include a new dilution controlled headbox, wire section extension and a shoe press. Training and start-up services are essential parts of the supply. The value of the delivery is approximately 5.8 million euros.

Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery will manufacture main part of the goods in Hollola, Tampere and Kokkola workshops in Finland. Corenso is a subsidiary of Stora Enso focusing in coreboard and core manufacturing. The PM12 will be rebuilt to produce coreboard from first quarter of 2008 onwards.
