Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery Receives Order for Wet End Machinery of Stora Enso BM4 in Imatra

VAAHTO PULP & PAPER MACHINERY RECEIVES ORDER FOR WET END MACHINERY OF STORA ENSO BM4 IN IMATRA

Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery has received an order from Stora Enso Imatra mills. Kaukopää BM4 line will be equipped with a new middle layer Vaahto HQC headbox. The new headbox enables a significant production increase featuring modern dilution control system for better CD profiles. The order includes also modifications of pick-up arrangement and loading system of the 1. press.

Stora Enso knows Vaahto equipment well in advance. Vaahto headboxes with rectifier roll and dilution control technology are in operation at BM2 and BM5 of Imatra mills. Also the pilot paper machine of Stora Enso´s Research Center is equipped with Vaahto HQC headbox.

Equipment will be manufactured in Vaahto´s workshop in Hollola, Finland. The start-up of the rebuilt board machine is scheduled for the last quarter of 2009.
